Relax on the front porch of this classic Craftsman -style home, with the ideal mix or updates and original woodwork. Soak in the small town feel, with the convenience of exploring the Central Upper Peninsula with ease!
Take a 9-block stroll south, down to Lake Michigan, or 4 blocks west to local restaurants. Enjoy the local Manistique atmosphere, stroll the peaceful boardwalk or take a quick drive to Kitch-iti-kipi- known as the Big Spring-- in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula where the water is crystal clear, and can be observed from a self-operated raft.
Indian Lake State Park is just a 9 minute drive (5.4 miles) ! Launch your boat, bring your ice fishing gear or relax on the sandy beach during your stay. Indian Lake is the 4th largest inland lake in the Upper Peninsula with an area of 8.400 acres. It is 6 miles long and 3 miles wide. In our experience, the sandy beach is rarely busy, and provides great family swimming opportunities within the roped off areas (Life guards are not normally present on this quiet, sandy beach) . Drive- in with your Michigan Recreation Passport, or purchase a day pass at the gate.

This picturesque community is a gateway to the unspoiled wilderness of Michigan's northern reaches and a haven for those seeking a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
One of the town's most iconic landmarks is the Manistique East Breakwater Light, a historic lighthouse that stands guard over the harbor. Visitors can take a leisurely walk along the breakwater to the lighthouse for panoramic views of the lake and to capture stunning photographs, especially at sunset.
Nature enthusiasts will find plenty to explore in the surrounding areas. The nearby Kitch-iti-kipi, also known as the Big Spring, is Michigan's largest freshwater spring.
