The exterior, with its rustic charm, is truly beautiful. The highlight is the wonderful natural swimming pool, which, free from chemical additives, cleans itself through water movement. It measures 6m x 6m with a uniform depth of 1.4m. If you’re staying with children, rest assured it’s elevated and protected. You can soak up the Mediterranean sun on four sun loungers, and an outdoor shower is perfect for a quick cool-down. Here, nature truly comes alive; depending on the season, you can pick fresh oranges, plums, lemons, and apricots directly from the trees. The free-roaming chickens and chicks on the property will also provide charming company. A terrace with an awning is an ideal spot for a BBQ with friends. This lovely property is fenced, has direct neighbors, and is just a few meters from the village of Porreres.
The ground floor consists of a sitting room with fireplace, a fully-equipped, Majorcan-Style kitchen with gas hob, a double bedroom, a bedroom with two twin beds, a bath with bath tub and a laundry fitted with washer, iron and ironing board.
A staircase leads you to the upper floor where you’ll find a spacious sitting-dining room with piano, where to watch a film on the satellite-TV and spend nice evenings. Two bedrooms with a double bed each and a shower bathroom are located on the first floor. We can supply one cot and one high chair if needed. There are four fans and two electric heaters.
The genuine village of Porreres is surrounded by fields and woods and is located in the heart of Mallorca. In the town centre you’ll find everything you may need for a self-catering holiday. After a pleasant family-dinner in the village, you can go home by foot. If you’re into sports, the area is nice for cycling and making excursions like a visit of the chapel Santuario de Cura or do horse riding in Randa.
A 30 minutes’ drive takes you to the south coast and to Colonia Sant Jordi, surrounded by dreamlike beaches as Playa des Carbó, Playa des Port, Es Trenc and Sa Rapita. In Colonia de Sant Jordi you can try fresh fish and seafood, as there are lots of good restaurants.
