Welcome to Pollock, an Property Manager home!
This tree-surrounded home may be filled with contemporary furnishings, but it exudes woodsy charm. Cook up breakfast, lunch, or dinner in the chef’s kitchen before sitting down at the formal dining table, or dine al fresco under the sunny sky. Take a break, beer in hand, in the hot tub, before watching the sun set over the trees. For a moment to yourself, escape to the freestanding tub in one of the bathrooms—or, if you’re in the mood for company, head to the game room for a fireside round of pool. Finish off the day in the den, watching movies on the projector screen. This is the life.
Known as “The Alps of Southern California,” the beautiful Lake Arrowhead is a well-kept secret, even from California natives. The quaint, European-style Lake Arrowhead Village makes a good place to pass your days, but visitors most often spend their time delighting in the area’s outdoor activities. Water skiing on the lake, fishing, and ATV riding are all popular pastimes in summer, while in winter, snow sports fanatics can get their fill of skiing on the local slopes. Whatever time of the year you visit, the temperate climate and numerous opportunities for adventure ensure a fun time for all.

The centerpiece of the region is the magnificent Lake Arrowhead, a private lake that boasts crystal-clear waters ideal for boating, fishing, and lakeside picnicking. While access to the lake itself is restricted to property owners, visitors can enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Lake Arrowhead Queen paddleboat tour, which provides a narrated history of the area and breathtaking views of the surrounding forest and grand waterfront homes.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the area is a haven for activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The region's trails, such as the Pacific Crest Trail and the local favorite, the Arrowhead Ridge Trail, offer panoramic vistas and the chance to spot local wildlife. In the winter, the nearby ski resorts of Snow Valley and Big Bear provide excellent opportunities for skiing and snowboarding.
History buffs will appreciate the area's rich past, which can be explored through visits to local landmarks like the Tudor House, a historic entertainment venue that once served as a speakeasy during Prohibition. The Mountain History Museum also offers insights into the area's cultural heritage, including its Native American roots and development as a mountain resort.
Accommodations in Lake Arrowhead range from cozy cabins to luxurious lodges, ensuring that there's a comfortable place to stay for every type of traveler. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a solo adventure, Lake Arrowhead's combination of natural splendor, recreational activities, and small-town charm makes it a destination that truly stands out.
