Boathouse Cottage Happily perched right at the water’s edge on Sebago Lake Basin, this sweet cottage in Standish is a place to spend your summers swimming, canoeing, and fishing in one of Maine’s most serene settings. This cottage is part of the Sebago Lake Lodge and Cottages, a property with 700 feet of lake frontage, swimming and docking areas, canoes to take out on the water, a fitness room, a firepit, and picnic areas. You’ll begin each morning in a cozy and inviting living space with generous windows, a full kitchen, and a private screened-in deck with a commanding view of the water. Once you’ve finished your coffee and breakfast, you can take a canoe out into Jordan Bay, go for a refreshing swim in the lake, and cap the day’s activities with an outdoor barbecue and s’mores roasted around the firepit.
