Roof Tree is a beautiful, four bedroom holiday home in the heart of the picturesque seaside village of Walberswick, only a 10 minute walk from the gorgeous sandy beach. This Scandinavian inspired property has been furnished to a high standard and sleeps a total of 8 guests, making it the perfect holiday home by the sea for a family or group of friends.
As you enter the property, you are welcomed into a comfortable and cosy living room with two sofas, two armchairs, a wood burner and a flat-screen TV, an ideal space for winding down, reading a book or watching a film. One of the main features of this house is the fantastic natural light that floods into the spacious, open-plan living, dining and kitchen area through a wall of impressive, large windows and French doors which open out onto the patio and garden. This wonderful space is very well-equipped with a dining table, further seating area and a hand-built kitchen, benefitting from a large island with 8 stools around it, zinc worktops and a wood-burning stove, creating the perfect atmosphere to socialise, enjoy a meal and relax into the evening all year round. There is also a ground-floor wet room just off the kitchen and a side door out into the garden.
Upstairs there are three, spacious king-size bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom and a fourth bedroom with an adult-sized bunk bed.
Walberswick is the perfect spot for a short break or family holiday with stunning walks along the beach, two friendly dining pubs, cafes, gift shops and a children’s play area. You can also benefit from either taking the ferry (a little rowing boat) or the footbridge across the River Blyth over to Southwold where you can explore the high street full of shops and cafes or take a stroll further up the beach, past all the colourful beach huts and towards the pier.
