Nestled in the heart of Marrakech Medina, Riad Medina offers a serene retreat where tradition meets comfort. Originally purchased in 2001, the riad was later expanded to include adjoining houses, a stunning douiria, and a rare terrace with a swimming pool. Thoughtfully restored by a skilled architect, the riad retains its Arab-Andalusian charm while introducing modern touches. Guests can enjoy junior suites, intimate salons, a hammam, massage room, and rooftop terraces with sweeping views of the medina and Atlas Mountains.
The riad’s suites are beautifully styled, from the romantic Glaoui Suite with its private staircase to the Mogodor Suite featuring an open-air bathroom. Meals prepared by Rachida, the talented cook, highlight Moroccan flavors with French and vegetarian options available. Guests may also join a cooking class, relax with traditional spa treatments, or unwind on the patio with mint tea. Every detail is designed to ensure a memorable and restful stay.
The property is run as a hotel or guesthouse, and guests will only have exclusive use of the entire accommodation if both the Riad and the Douiria are booked, this is reflected in the 12-person rate.
For bookings of fewer than 12 people, the property reserves the right to accept additional reservations for the remaining rooms. In this case, the pool and outdoor areas may be shared with other guests.
Please also note that the hammam and massage room are located in the Douiria and will be shared if there are other guests staying at the property.

Nearby, historic landmarks such as the Ben Youssef Mosque, Place de la Kissaria, and architectural gems like Bahia Palace and Le Jardin Secret showcase the city’s rich heritage.
Beyond the medina, adventures abound. Visitors can journey into the Atlas Mountains for 4x4 excursions, camel rides, and trips to Berber villages, or marvel at natural wonders like the Ouzoud Waterfalls. Visitors to Rahba Kedima will find themselves surrounded by a plethora of spice stalls, where heaps of cumin, saffron, and ras el hanout create a painter's palette of hues and an olfactory tapestry that is quintessentially Moroccan. The square is not only a place to buy spices but also a variety of other goods, including traditional Moroccan textiles, leather goods, and beautifully crafted pottery.
