The Home

The Lake Lodge is a lovely bright, fresh home with very comfortable furnishings so you can really sit back and relax during your stay. It is a bungalow, so all rooms are on the same level. Although not adapted for wheelchair users, if needed, a wheelchair would be able to access all areas of the house. The living area is all open plan and encompasses the kitchen, dining and sitting room areas. The kitchen has everything you will need during your stay including dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. There are a couple of seats at the counter which doubles as a breakfast bar. The dining area has seating for six people and offers wonderful views to the lake beyond. 

The sitting room is warm, inviting and cosy and has both TV and a welcoming wood burning stove (wood will be supplied for you).

Payment and Cancellation - 60 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.

House Rules

  • No smoking
  • No pets
  • A security deposit of €200.00 must be given to the Caretaker on arrival. This will be returned to you provided the supervisor is satisfied that the terms and conditions of the rental have been complied with. Any breakages or damages will be deducted from your deposit.
  • If you have guests joining you for a night or two, the sofa in the living room converts into a bed which is suitable only for two children though.
