This newly-built and delightfully-furnished cabin in a private community is centrally located in Jackson County offering easy access to many local attractions and communities. Inside your air-conditioned space, you’ll find a soaring cathedral ceiling, a full, modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a table for six, and a comfortable living area with a gas fireplace (October to March), a flatscreen TV, a washer/dryer, and sliding door access out to the furnished deck. This large, screened deck offers a table and chairs for outdoor dining, cozy rockers, ceiling fans, and an additional flatscreen TV, all overlooking the river, while the riverside firepit is the perfect place to gather and watch the stars come out.
The new river-front game room features an 8-foot billiards table with optional table tennis conversion top, an electronic soft-tip dartboard, and flatscreen TV and music system. This added feature is rarely matched in similar short-term rentals, and perfect for when the weather causes a temporary change in plans or for winding down after a long day exploring the outdoors.
Enjoy hiking the nearby trails that lead out to spectacular vistas and beautiful waterfalls, fishing the WNC Fly Fishing Trail, or taking in events at Western Carolina University located less than two miles from your door. Discover several small mountain towns like Sylva, Dillsboro, Waynesville, Cashiers, Bryson City, and Cherokee, all within a short drive and all offering great, walkable downtown areas with unique shops, restaurants, and friendly pubs, each with its own unique personality.
