Moosehead Lodge (est. 2002) is a luxurious retreat blending 64 years of family history. Ideal for reunions, adventures, and getaways, it offers a serene escape with scenic Sierra views, lakeside days, and cozy evenings by an outdoor fireplace. Enjoy spa-like baths, a gourmet kitchen, and rustic elegance. Close to Bass Lake, Yosemite, and ski resorts, it’s 1.5 miles from the lake for tranquility, yet spacious for families and groups. A perfect blend of comfort, nature, and elegance.
Please remember this is the mountains. There are mosquitoes, bats, bugs, and bears. Please remember repellent and have a "Great Outdoors" attitude if a bat finds its way into the house. Just please don’t break everything as you swing the broom around to swish it back outside!!!

Payment & Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
- Guests who book a home or villa that is located in the state of California may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 24-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made 3 days before arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House rules
- Rental conditions and contract will be sent over after booking. Signature will be required as acknowledgment and acceptance. If terms are not agreeable, free cancellation is allowed within the platforms allowance period.
