For year-round fun closer to home, a series of interconnecting hiking and ATV trails off the back of the property offer the opportunity to explore the area’s wooded splendor right out the back door. Wake up to majestic views of the mountains as you enjoy morning coffee on the expansive deck. In the spring and summer months, this is a perfect place to enjoy al fresco dining with a patio table and seating to accommodate up to six. Adorned with original artwork, the home features a welcoming, contemporary design and modern appliances throughout. Vaulted ceilings and strong lighting illuminate the main floor living room. Anchored by a wood-burning fireplace, this area offers a cozy place for group gathering and family movie nights on the equipped, flatscreen smart TV. Ceiling fans throughout the home keep it cool in the warmer months. Sliding door access leads out to the deck. Framing the living room, an enormous pass-through window connects the kitchen and living spaces. The kitchen comes fully-equipped for at-home meals, with a full suite of major appliances and utensils. The dining table is set for six. Past the dining area, a set of double doors lead out to a sunny, all-season room featuring an array of windows and plush patio seating. With a collection of beanbag chairs, classic board games, and a flatscreen smart TV, younger guests will love having the lower-level play area to call their own. THINGS TO KNOW The house is located on a hilltop, accessible by a 400-foot-long gravel driveway. The driveway is typical of many Vermont homes. Please do not book if you are not comfortable navigating a long, gravel driveway in wintry conditions. A 4x4 (4-wheel drive) is required to reach this home in winter and is recommended for all other seasons. This home is heated by oil heat. A living room sofabed provides an extra sleeping space. Streaming services available with guests’ accounts. No pets are allowed at this vacation rental. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Property Manager approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximun occupancy and quiet hours.
