Home details
A tremendous villa in an enchanting part of central Italy, close to many of Le Marche’s prettiest medieval villages and towns, Villa Evelina is a picture-perfect residence for a relaxing holiday, a special celebration or a dreamy Italian wedding.
Experience the authenticity of this charming home which originally dates back to the 18th century and has played an important role in family life over the last 300 years. When the most recent owners fell in love with Villa Evelina in the 1990s it was in an incredibly poor state, yet two restorations later and a number of years of hard graft and loving determination, they have managed to create a wonderful abode that greatly respects its history whilst offering stylish furnishings and modern amenities.
Sixteen bedrooms are scattered across the grand main residence and two separate villas, all of which are set in a 2-acre estate with a glorious swimming pool, and splendid gardens. Wander around the glorious grounds and admire the century-old towering pine trees, terracotta pots bursting with summer colour, pretty benches and tranquil terraces as well as lemon trees, jasmine and other scents of Le Marche.
The interiors are just as delightful with individually styled bedrooms, many en suite and some with air-conditioning, elegant living spaces and perfectly equipped kitchens across the exquisite main villa and two comfortable annexes, offering a variety of accommodation for up to 48 guests.
This flexibility continues when it comes to wedding arrangements and the experienced owners can offer a wealth of choices whether you wish to host a lavish affair or an intimate celebration. A charming non-consecrated chapel adds to the romantic ambience, as does a grand arched hall for a decadent reception and a number of idyllic terraces across the magnificent estate.
Surrounded by the Macerata hills and typically beautiful Le Marche countryside, visit historic villages, captivating towns and brilliant beaches during your time in this mesmerizing region. Close by are wonderful walks through hills and beech forests, close to the incredible ancient hilltop village of Elcito, known as the ‘Tibet of Le Marche’, or discover hikes with spectacular coastal views along the striking Riviera del Conero.
The blue-flag beaches of Civitanova Marche and the Riviera delle Palme are under an hour away or discover true Italian gems inland such as Macerata, Sarnano and Loreto. Even the rolling hills of verdant Umbria can be reached for a superb day out with Assisi and Perugia around ninety minutes by car. Whether coast or countryside, the landscapes of this alluring part of central Italy will never fail to amaze you in every way.
