When you walk into 1852 Gardens, you step into the past. This vacation home is a charming apartment set inside a historic Victorian row home. Though we’ve fully updated our Savannah vacation rentals with modern comforts, we’ve made sure to keep many of the beautiful historic elements intact. Exposed brick and stone, a fireplace, and arched French doors add vintage charm to the home.
The heart of 1852 Gardens is the central living space. This open floor plan includes a cozy seating area with a couch, armchairs, and ottomans. The room contains a television for watching all your favorite shows and eclectic, global-inspired decor. Tall French doors let in light and provide a lovely view of the garden outside. This part of the home also includes a dining table with two chairs, so you can have a spot to enjoy a lazy breakfast or host a dinner party.
To the side of the living space is a fully-equipped kitchen. An antique fireplace and hutch reference the home’s historic past, while stainless steel appliances and white subway tile add a touch of modernity. The kitchen contains a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove, and oven, so it’s easy to cook at home. Though Savannah’s tasty restaurants are just a few steps away, the kitchens in our Savannah vacation rentals make it easy to have a quiet, affordable meal at home whenever you want.
1852 Gardens is one of our two-person Savannah vacation homes. It features a full-sized bedroom with a queen bed, a fireplace, and a seating area. This peaceful bedroom is decorated in shades of soft white and cozy red, making it the perfect spot for a good night’s sleep. Off of the bedroom is an en-suite bath. The bathroom has both a tub and a shower, so you can pamper yourself after a day of exploring Savannah.

A bubbling fountain and beautifully maintained hedges are a fantastic backdrop to your vacation. The courtyard is outfitted with a variety of lounge and dining furniture. Since it’s one of the most popular locations in Savannah, the neighborhood also attracts some of Savannah’s best restaurants and shops. Our Savannah vacation home is right by several delicious spots like Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room, Wicked Cakes of Savannah, and Collins Quarter.
Once you’re ready to travel outside of the immediate neighborhood, you’ll find all sorts of fantastic things to do. Savannah is one of the oldest cities in the nation, so it is home to beautiful Colonial and Victorian architecture. You can hop on the free trolley to tour the historic districts, or you can learn about the town at one of its many museums.
Savannah is also known for its arts and culture. The town is a great spot to visit if you enjoy exploring art museums or going to concerts. Depending on when you visit the town, there can be fun local events like holiday parades and pride festivals.
