This historic retreat is conveniently located in the village of Bar Harbor, just steps from boat and trolley tours, shops, restaurants, Town Pier, Town Beach, and historic Shore Path walk. On the way to Shore Path, be sure to stop at Agamont Park, just a short stroll from the home. Overlooking the Town Pier and Frenchman Bay, this idyllic green space is a great place to enjoy summertime picnics. Built in 1948, the cottage has been lovingly and carefully restored and features the perfect blend of nostalgia with modern amenities. The waterfront porch is the perfect spot to unwind with a cold beverage or energize with a cup of coffee. After a fun-filled day of strolling around the heart of the village, relax in leather recliners and watch shows on the TV equipped with cable and a DVD player. When mealtime comes around, the spacious and modern eat-in kitchen has all the appliances needed to whip up tasty meals for everyone. It’s been appointed with Maine granite countertops, ground coffee and K-Cup coffee makers, and everything you need from wine glasses to a garlic press! The first floor of the home also features the main bedroom with a 42-inch TV and a large en suite bath with a standalone shower, and a full bath with a standalone shower and a soaking tub.
