A large and recently renovated loft in a quiet area of the Castello district.
This apartment is located on the ground floor and is one grand open space divided by wooden panel walls that give it movement and create different spaces and areas: a large living area with colorful sofas and armchairs, a dining table for 10 people, 1 double bedroom, 2 bathrooms (one of which is ensuite to the bedroom), and a fully equipped kitchen completely finished in gold-leaf.
The house brings together traditional elements, like the exposed wooden beams, with classic and modern furnishings, creating a colorful, cheerful, and warm environment.
The apartment is located on a side street, isolating it from the busier ones while also being only a 10-minute walk from Piazza San Marco. In the nearby Calle Santa Maria Formosa, you can find many artisan shops and restaurants. There are also 2 supermarkets not too far away.
The closest waterbus stop is Ospedale for easy and quick connections to all main attractions, as well as for the Alilaguna boat service for the Marco Polo Airport.
Venice has six districts, known as “sestieri.” Castello is the most populated and most popular district of the city of Venice. Among the most fascinating areas, there is Via Garibaldi, with its many shops, bars, and restaurants that open onto the street. From here, you can experience the daily life of the many residents who meet up here to chat and shop. Nearby is the monumental Venetian Arsenal, where the boats and ships of the Republic of Venice were built. Today, it is a magnificent space in which the Venice Biennale hosts some of its art and architecture exhibitions. Walking toward Sant’Elena, you cross the Giardini della Biennale, the other Biennale exhibition center. The Giardini opens onto the largest green area of the city: the Park of Sant’Elena.
Making your way toward San Marco, you step onto Riva degli Schiavoni, which leads you to Ponte della Paglia. From here, you can see the splendid Bridge of Sighs and can quickly reach Piazza San Marco, which is just around the corner.

About the area
Venice, Italy, is a city that enchants its visitors with its distinctive blend of history, artistry, and romance. The city is uniquely constructed on over 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. Instead of roads and cars, Venice is characterized by its waterways and gondolas, offering a truly unique urban experience.
St. Mark's Square stands as one of the city's most iconic landmarks. It is home to St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace. The basilica boasts stunning Byzantine mosaics while the palace showcases Gothic architecture and grand rooms adorned with art - both are symbols of Venice's rich historical heritage.
The Grand Canal is another must-visit attraction in Venice. A gondola ride along this major waterway provides breathtaking views of beautiful palaces and historic buildings lining its banks. For those passionate about art, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection offers an impressive collection of modern art from renowned artists like Picasso and Pollock.
Venice takes pride in its glassmaking industry located on the island of Murano where visitors can witness artisans crafting intricate glass pieces using age-old techniques.
The city also hosts several globally recognized events such as the Venice Biennale art exhibition and the Venice Film Festival which draw artists and celebrities worldwide.
For gastronomes, Venetian cuisine offers fresh seafood from the lagoon and traditional dishes like risotto nero (black risotto) made with cuttlefish ink.
In summary, Venice presents an irresistible mix of history, culture, artistic talent, gastronomy, and romance that makes it an ideal destination for any traveler.
