Being one of a handful of ski-in/out condo properties on Aspen Mountain, this cozy vacation rental is a hidden gem. Lift 1A is right next to the property and after a stroll down South Aspen Street you will find Aspen’s numerous shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife. As the property is tucked up against the mountain it is a quiet and peaceful retreat with easy access to downtown. Take advantage of the on-call free Downtowner Shuttle to get you anywhere you need to go in the Aspen Core! The condo is located on the 2nd floor, without elevator access, but the views are worth the stairs!
Ski in / ski out to Aspen Mountain*, the Shadow Mountain complex is the perfect spot for a great winter or summer getaway. This inviting home offers great views, and a location that is close to downtown but nestled on Aspen Mountain. You will feel so relaxed in this welcoming space. The living area, with gas fireplace provides expansive views of Aspen and an inviting space to gather after a day of exploring all that this amazing resort has to offer. The large newly remodeled kitchen has everything you need to prepare great meals. Newly installed air conditioning on the upper level creates a comfortable space to unwind during the warm summer months. The two bedrooms are located on the lower level with one full bathroom. One full bathroom is on the upper level.
Any time of year this condo is a great choice when coming to visit the Aspen Snowmass area. It is ideal for a small family or a few friends traveling together. After enjoying a hot cup of coffee and a hearty breakfast, stroll just a few feet to the snow to ride the Shadow Mountain Lift (Lift 1-A) and start your ski day. At the end of your day, or for a quick lunch stop, you can store your skis right outside the front door and the entry has plenty of space for boots and coats. The seasonal outdoor heated pool is comforting after a long day on the mountain and there is a common area gas grill and picnic area for enjoying apres ski with some burgers and beverages! In the winter the pool temperature will be maintained at or around 102 degrees and in the summer at or around 85 degrees. The pool is closed in spring and fall.
Complimentary parking for one vehicle in the on-site lot. Additional vehicles will need to be parked off-site.
**Property is located on the 2nd floor and does not have elevator access. There is a funicular located a flight of stairs up from the parking lot, however the funicular can be particular. No refunds if it’s not operational. We’ll gladly help with luggage during normal business hours. We ask that you contact in advance of your arrival to schedule this.
*Portable AC units for the downstairs bedrooms are available for rent.
*Early and late season Shadow Mountain lift access dependent upon snow conditions. Aspen Mountain Gondola is 3 blocks away.
