To get to the elevator, guests are required to take some steps beforehand, so mobility is required. PARKING A convenient private double garage available to guests at no extra fee. NEIGHBORHOOD Surely, one of the upsides of this modern penthouse is the location: a walking distance away from the center of Como and all the amenities, but also near to a hiking area for lovers of greenery! A two-minute walk, and you are on the path to the Baradello Castle! From there, you have a wide choice of hiking trails in the splendid Parco della Spina Verde: the place to be for fans of outdoor activities! Get ready for breathtaking views of the lake and Como city! Some of the paths even lead to Switzerland! HIGHLIGHTS & HOME TRUTHS >The apartment is spacious, modern, well-lit, and well-equipped. >From the windows and the terrace, you can see the whole city, including the characteristic green dome of the cathedral. >The kitchen is perfect for cooking, but there is no nearby grocery store, so food will have to be brought from afar. GETTING AROUND The main sightseeing objects, Lake Como, and train stations are a walking distance away from the apartment, but not immediately close. It takes around 30 min to walk to the lakeside and 25 minutes to walk to the nearest train stations – Como San Giovanni and Como Camerlata. In the city of Como and nearby towns, ASF Autolinee buses are in operation. Tickets can be obtained from the driver (cash only) or in designated places (bus station in Piazza Matteotti, bars and tobacco stores). Taxis are also available. From the pier in central Como, a local ferry service will take you to Cernobbio, Torno, Bellagio, Varenna, Colico, and other lakeside towns. Please note – if traveling in high season, we advise you to be patient with long waiting lines at the ticket office. Tickets can also be bought online on the Navigazione Laghi website! From Como San Giovanni station, there are regular trains departing to Milano Centrale and Switzerland (Lugano, Bellinzona, Locarno). From Como Nord Lago, there is a train connection to Milano Cadorna. The nearest airports are Milano Malpensa, Milano Linate, and Orio Al Serio in Bergamo. It is possible to arrange a direct shuttle to and from the airport at an additional cost.
