This 4 bedroom 3.5 bath, 2,500 square foot townhome is located just across highway 550 from Purgatory Resort and is 24 miles north of downtown Durango (less than a 30 minute drive). Private hot tub on the deck!
Enjoy the convenience of being at the ski resort, yet have the privacy and additional space of a townhome (that is part of a duplex) with a two car garage. The resort is both an amazing winter playground, and offers a wealth of all your favorite mountain activities in a cool and comfortable summer climate at 8,900 feet in elevation. For ease, there is a free on-demand shuttle to the ski resort in winter.
The home is adjacent to over a million acres of national forest land and backs one of the finest hiking trails in the area. Unlimited adventures await in the incomparable San Juan National Forest with walking access to three watersheds with abundant trout and extraordinary vistas of the Needles Mountains.
The new home is perfect for multiple families as it features two living spaces (with a gas fireplace in each) on different floors as well an open floor plan, great kitchen and a large deck off the main living space as well as an extended upstairs deck.
The home is located near the Purgatory Flats trail head, one of the finest and most scenic hikes in the area as well as a stocked pond for fishing and a playground and in winter, there is a cross country ski trail right out the front door. 4 WD is NOT required in the winter.

The home is not pet friendly.
For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club.
Although the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)has advised that Covid-19 is spread mainly by person-to-person contact, we are following CDC guidance relative to cleaning and disinfecting and are following best practices, including paying close attention to high touch surfaces and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for surfaces. Linens, towels, bedsheets,etc. are washed per manufacturer’s guidelines. We are also minimizing person-to-person contact from check-in through departure. One of the ways we’re doing this is through no-contact guest access via our keyless entry system.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
