Majestically situated atop Richmond Hill, with its grand period buildings and leafy vistas, this classically styled three-bedroom family apartment enjoys the best of both worlds, boasting a delightful communal garden, as well as historic Richmond Park on the doorstep. With it’s country house aesthetic, wrought iron steps, and picturesque neighbouring church, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped back in time. Don’t worry though, as magical as it is to get lost in the wilds of the surrounding parkland, Richmond station is not far away, with speedy connection to London Waterloo.
Elegant parquet flooring stretches from the living room to the kitchen, illuminated by large windows and fresh white interiors. The living room combines classical features, including a period fireplace and vintage stuccowork, with two plush sofas. The kitchen, with its traditional sash window overlooking the garden, seamlessly blends old and new, with a chic marbled kitchen island and contemporary bar stools. Stroll outside and down the romantic wrought iron steps, to enjoy a lovely communal garden. Eager for more outdoor delights? A short amble down the road leads you to celebrated Richmond Park, the largest of London’s royal parks. Spectacular views and enchanting walks abound here. Keep your eyes peeled, and you might even spot a deer - or indeed a whole herd - lounging amongst the trees.
We love...
The dining room table, which boasts the best spot in the house. Set in the large bay window and basking in the sunlight, offering scenic views of the leafy street beyond, and mood lighting provided by an elegant candelabra. A simple brunch has never felt so sophisticated.
Home truths:
If you’re bringing the car, there’s a handy off-street parking spot available - just let us know if you’ll be needing it. The second bedroom features a trundle bed that pulls out into a comfy double, sleeping two guests. The garden is communal, so you’ll get to meet the neighbours whilst relaxing on the lawn. And if you’re travelling with a canine companion who would also relish some long walks through the park, we’re happy to say that they’re welcome here too. You may also have noticed that the main bathroom is missing. The kitchen has a hot tap rather than a kettle - for an even more efficient morning coffee.
