This peaceful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom single-leve home features an open living concept, country kitchen, laundry room covered porch and open patio. The Pine Meadow Cabin, located between Durango and Bayfield, is close to Vallecito & Lemon Lakes, a gorgeous mountain recreation area with boating, fishing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, four-wheeling and more.

Our home’s architecture, which uses strawbales as structural elements, is optimal for the arid southwest landscape, helping insulate the home in the winter and keep it cool in the summer. Consistent with most Colorado mountain destinations, the home does not offer air-conditioning. There is a washer/dryer in this home.
This home is appx 30 minutes to downtown Durango, 30 minutes to Vallecito Marina, and 55 minutes to Purgatory ski resort.
In winter (November through April), 4WD is required. It is NECESSARY that you have a four-wheel-drive vehicle, vehicles with medium to high clearance and winter/snow tires. Although the roads and driveway are well-maintained, they are very steep and curvy, and will be snow packed and slick.
There is no cell service located at this property. The home has a landline and WiFi calling works.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
