First, turn on the gas fireplace and take a seat on your sofa, which offers a lovely view through floor-to-ceiling windows of your wraparound deck and the trees beyond. The adjacent, open-plan kitchen and dining area mean the chef of the group won’t feel left out while preparing meals. There’s a suite of gleaming stainless steel appliances, and a lovely natural-edge dining table, which doubles as prep space. When it’s time to eat, you can enjoy the same lovely view from the table. A washer/dryer and free WiFi round out this home’s interior perks. Once you’ve settled in, it’s time to explore your surroundings. In the summer, nearby Donner Lake and hiking trails beckon, and in the winter, you’re surrounded by ski slopes. Truckee and Tahoe are a short drive away, and when it’s time to return, you can go into full hibernation mode and get cozy. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Property Manager approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximun occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
