The Maynard Manor is a bright, spacious, and exquisite home for your next visit to Columbus. Tucked in the historic Old North Columbus neighborhood, this 5 BR, 2.5 BA is just steps from High St., yet only 5 minutes from the Highway. The perfect spot for families, groups, and business travelers. Our kitchen/dinning room is perfect for a family meal, and our living room is perfect for catching up with old friends. There are 4 BR and 1BA on 2nd floor, with a spacious master suite on the 3rd floor.
The Space:
The Maynard Manor is fully stocked with lots of great amenities for your trip to Columbus. The kitchen comes equipped with everything needed to prepare and serve a group meal. Our living room has 2 sleeper sofas, and plenty of seating. The Manor has a large fenced in back yard, the garage is not available for guests. 2 bedrooms have a desk and chair available for use.
Interaction with Guests:
The Property Manager hosting team is a full time crew of professionals that work together to provide an excellent experience for our guests. We are out and about all the time helping guests, and we are thrilled when we get a chance to help make someone’s trip special. Just reach out at anytime!
The Neighborhood:
Old North Columbus is a neighborhood located just north of the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. It was founded in 1847 where, at the time, it was a stand-alone city out of the confines of Columbus until it was incorporated into the City of Columbus in 1871. In its early years the city was a popular stagecoach stop with people traveling from Worthington to Columbus. Today Old North Columbus is popular for its local music and its unique "untouched architecture" which is reminiscent of its old roots.
Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft are great ways to get around in Columbus, and our central location allows you to get to most parts of downtown in under 10 minutes, and most other parts of Columbus in under 20 minutes.
We also are close to a COTA public bus stop. Also available in columbus are a bike share, and scooters!
House Rules:
To finalize your booking for this and all future stays with Property Manager we ask that you please review & agree to the following terms to confirm your reservation.
We’d be happy to approve your request with the agreement that if there is excessive wear or trash, smoking inside or incidents of noise, unauthorized late checkouts, parking in unauthorized areas or if an unauthorized party or gathering has taken place then you could be charged additional damage fees.
Additionally, upon request we may choose to require that you to provide a photo of a valid government ID, (as well as a photo of you holding the ID), at any point before or during your stay, failure to do so may result in a cancelled booking and being responsible for any costs associated with loss of revenue.
If any unauthorized visitors beyond the total you mentioned enter the property or if the guest is suspected of possessing illegal substance or conducts any illegal or dangerous acts, tampers or obstructs exterior cameras or violates house rules then this would be grounds for immediate cancellation at our discretion regardless of the reservation status.
If any of the above incidents occur then law enforcement officers will be allowed to enter & search the home, and you may also be responsible for additional fees ranging from $50-$500 or more based on severity of each incident as well a forfeiture of all costs & fees associated with the booking.
These fees can be avoided if the home is reasonably clean at checkout, no incidents are reported, and our home is respected & cared-for. If you agree to the terms above for this and all future stays then please let us know by saying "I accept" and we’ll happily approve this request immediately.
House Rules: "• NO PARTIES/EVENTS, no outside visitors after 10pm, or overnight guests without previous approval from me.
• NO SMOKING OR VAPING inside the house – please do not discard your cigarettes butts in the house trash cans. They get stinky.
• DO NOT ENGAGE IN ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES anywhere on the property.
• DO NOT LEAVE ANY FOOD OUT that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.
• QUIET HOURS: Sunday - Thursday: 9pm - 8am, Friday - Saturday: 10pm -8am
• If you break or damage something, please let me know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
- No weapons allowed on this property.
- If the house is left in a condition that requires extra cleaning, the guest will be charged at $30/hour that our cleaning crew spends over 2 hours cleaning. This includes excess dirt caused by pets. Any biohazard mess (including pet poop or pee) left by a guest will be charged an extra $75 minimum, depending on severity.
- Any smoking inside will be charged an extra $300 cleaning fee."
We love pets! We do charge a $35 pet fee for each stay that a guest has a pet in our home. All pets must be reported before arrival.
If the premises appear dirty or damaged upon Check-in, Guest shall inform the Company immediately. Guest is responsible for any damage or cost incurred by any party invited to the property by Guest.
