The Lazy Bay
Located between the towns of Rockport and Port Aransas, this 3-bedroom 2-bath canal front house is
the perfect setting for either a fishing or beach trip. Bring your boat and tie it up at the private 60-foot
dock. With the Intracoastal Waterway just minutes from the dock, you have ready access to the Aransas
Bay system and the numerous prime fishing spots of the Texas Coastal Bend.
WIth a wrap-around deck and covered patio below, this home has plenty of room to relax. Fish from the
private dock, watch the various shore birds visiting the canal, or simply enjoy lazy days at The Lazy Bay
while vacationing at this comfortable coastal home.
The property is part of the coveted City-by-the-Sea neighborhood. Downtown Rockport, with its many shops and restaurants, is
a short 10-minute drive, as is family-friendly Rockport Beach, Texas' only Blue Wave Certified beach. If
you're looking to ride bigger waves, make the short 10-minute drive to the Port Aransas Ferry and enjoy
a day on the island.
LIVING AREAS
The open-concept living area features custom furniture with a large sofa, recliner, and three additional
comfortable chairs. The views will have you in true "Lazy Bay" mode, watching pelicans dive for fish and
boats cruising the canal. The classic coastal artwork is the perfect complement to the natural setting.
KITCHEN AND DINING
The kitchen was updated in the spring of 2024 and is well-equipped with everything you will need to
enjoy your stay, including both a Keurig and traditional coffee makers. The dining table for six is the
perfect spot to enjoy a meal or an after-dinner card game.
BED AND BATH
Both bathrooms were updated in the spring of 2024.
The lower-level bedroom has an inviting king bed, perfect for relaxing after a day on the boat or at the
beach, a Roku TV, and an en-suite bath with a roomy walk-in tile shower. Please note that this room is
separately accessed from outside to the main house upstairs and cannot be accessed from inside the
home.
The upstairs bedrooms each have a king bed and share a double-vanity bath with a tub/shower
combination. The larger upstairs bedroom also has a set of twin-over-twin bunkbeds and a TV with
Roku-- perfect for families traveling with kids.
OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES
Enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails on the upstairs wrap-around deck, or head downstairs to the
covered patio outfitted with a glider, 4 Adirondack chairs, and a charcoal grill.
Take advantage of over 60' of private dock space--bring your own boat, fish in the underwater green
light, or prepare your catch on the waterfront fish cleaning table. Please note the boat lift is not
available for guest use.

LOCATION
Located just off the Intracoastal Waterway at the front of the canal, this home is perfectly situated for
dockside pickup and drop-off when fishing with a local guide.
The neighborhood is also equidistant to Rockport Beach and the Port Aransas Ferry, making beach trips
easy and convenient.
**Due to the location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible.
No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Property Manager approval.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
