Enter the cottage from your front porch into the great room with an inviting, overstuffed sectional sofa with an additional chair by the window to read your book selection of the day on or to enjoy a movie on the flat screen TV. There is a work desk provided in the living room as well should you need to have a space to answer emails or maybe write in your journal. The kitchen has a beautiful farmhouse style table that seats 8 and an additional bar counter that also seats 4. With stainless steel appliances and a beautiful tiles backsplash, this kitchen is a cook’s dream. Take the open airy staircase upstairs to the fresh and inviting charm of the bedrooms that all have must have views. A stacked washer and dryer for your use during your stay. Upstairs is where you will enjoy the wall of windows and French doors leading out onto the screened in porch overlooking Lake Kai. It’s strongly recommended for cricket concerts you are likely to hear in the evening; keep your eyes peeled for lighting bugs.
OUTDOOR GATHERING SPACE
For your outside time, enjoy the boardwalk along Lake Kai, known for some great catch and release fishing or just a place for you to get away from things for a while. Relax on the screened in porch overlooking Lake Kai or around the newly custom designed firepit and patio.
