Walk out onto the wrap-around deck of Talking Trees Lodge and find yourself aloft in the 60’ pines and tall maple trees. The 3 story lodge is nestled in a private glen located in a quiet, wooded area 3 miles north of the center of Stowe. With capacity for 8 guests, everyone will find their own favorite spot in the house. The main floor features a wood burning marble fireplace, cherry wall panels, and a pine plank ceiling. The glow of the warm wood creates a perfect setting for the primary social area, that also has a perfectly cozy reading area. A work station is tucked into one corner, and a bar, beverage cooler, and bistro game table are tucked into the other. From every vantage point, there is a beautiful forested view. A country kitchen adjoins the open dining room which seats 8 guests comfortably. Outdoors, there is shaded dining for 6, as well as 6 lounge chairs. Also on the main floor is the primary queen suite with a walk-in closet and a private bath with a tub and shower, another full bath, as well as a laundry room. Two queen bedrooms are located up the handsome staircase, and share a large walk-in closet and a bath with a shower. The lower level is a great getaway, especially for the kids to escape to their own domain. There is a game room with a large screen TV, foosball table, sleeper sofa, a bath with a large shower, and the sliding door exterior access to the hot tub. The lower bedroom offers 2 twin beds and double closet. For large or long term family use there is a lower level walk-in pantry with open shelves for additional storage, and an additional refrigerator and freezer.
