A characterful, welcoming cottage surrounded by the stunning scenery on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. This traditional homely property is a fantastic hidden gem from which you can easily explore this diverse and stunning part of North Wales.
Downstairs you will find a spacious living room, complete with open fire and a basket of logs to get you started. There are two comfortable sofas and a Smart TV with all your favourite streaming platforms - perfect for kicking back and relaxing on the sofas after a long day of adventuring.
There is a separate dining room with a wood burning stove of its own and traditional farmhouse dining table and chairs to comfortably seat all the family. The kitchen is excellently equipped, with oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and toaster, plus all the kitchenware you’ll need for your favourite holiday meals. If you’d rather take a break from cooking, the local pizza joint, in Betws-y-Coed, is not to be missed and only a short drive away.
There is also a light and airy conservatory area overlooking the rear garden, with cane furniture to offer an additional relaxing space.
Upstairs, there are three generous bedrooms, one double, one single and another single with the option of an extra bed which can be pulled out if needed. All complete with ample storage space, the bedrooms have lovely views over the countryside with the mountains in the distance. The family bathroom boasts a luxury finish with classic style rolltop bath basin and WC. There is also a separate modern large shower enclosure with shower over.
The garden is a wonderful feature, completely enclosed making it great for children and pets, a summerhouse on the patio area and table and chairs to sit out and enjoy the stunning views around you. This is an ideal place to enjoy drinks in the sunshine, or with almost no light pollution at all, it is perfect to see the incredible starry night sky by dark.
At Christmas and New Year, the house is decorated, and seasonal hampers are included to welcome you on arrival. There is driveway parking for two cars, and pets are welcome all year round.
Locally, there is a staggering amount to choose from when planning what to see and do. The closest pub is a very walkable ½ mile down the road, and there is a convenience store nearby in the centre of Pentrefoelas. Many more local amenities are available in the ever-popular town of Betws-y-Coed just a couple of minutes’ drive away.
Whether you love hiking, mountain biking and outdoor activities, or exploring the stunning coastline there is sure to be something for everyone.
Mount Snowdon is approx 20miles distant and the surrounding area offers plenty of walking routes and beautiful lakes amongst the mountains just waiting to be discovered. For some family fun, head a few miles down the road to Zip World Fforest for a day of adventure in the treetops, or there is Greenwood Forest Park, full of exciting outdoor adventures and indoor activities for rainy days.
Criccieth Beach, Harlech Beach and Black Rock Sands are all less than 60 mins drive away, and with Anglesey just the other side of the mountain, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
