Located next to Campo San Barnaba in Dorsoduro the Tintoretto is a charming Venetian style home with private courtyard.
It is a great property for those who are looking for quietness and comfort in a classy environment, with outdoor space.
Campo San Barnaba is considered the best location of the Dorsoduro District by locals as it is close to both public transport and every sort of shop, while offering easy access to the most important landmarks of the historic center.
This house is easily accessible from the Cà Rezzonico Vaporetto Stop in only 1 minute walk and it is laid out over approximately 150 square meters excluding the charming private courtyard. The living area is composed of a spacious dining room connected to a fully equipped kitchen and the living room with a comfortable sofa-bed. The courtyard is accessible from both the dining room and living room. Here you can find a nice marble table and chairs for a lovely breakfast or candlelight dinner. The courtyard is partially covered with flowering trellises and other beautiful plants that are particularly nice from spring to autumn.
There are 3 bedrooms at the Tintoretto: the master bedroom is on the first floor, it is very spacious and elegantly furnished with Rubelli style textiles and antiques, it has an elegant en-suite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe; the second bedroom is next to the living room and can be used as double or twin according to your needs, it also has a luxury en-suite bathroom with white marble and boiserie; the third bedroom is the annex which is accessible from the courtyard and is composed of a single bed with en-suite bathroom. Please note that to access the third bedroom you have to cross the courtyard as it is a separate part of the property: we suggest using this room only from April to November as in winter it could be less comfortable.
At the Tintoretto you will find every amenity such as Wi-Fi, A/C, entertainment system, washing machine, dishwasher and all other electrical appliances. The location is particularly quiet and is suitable also for long stays.
About the location: in the Dorsoduro District you can find plenty of interesting local artisan shops and art showcases in every corner, without the "hustle and bustle" that you might expect being so close to the city centre. It is also the student area, home to the renowned Venice Ca’ Foscari University, therefore welcome more nightlife than the rest of Venice. The general vibe is creative, youthful and relaxed. The district heart is Campo Santa Margherita, only 2 minutes’ walk from the apartment: in the daytime you can find a nice open-air market, children playing, locals walking dogs, shops and cafes; in the evening several trendy or classic bars and restaurants opens till midnight and after.

About the area
Venice, Italy, is a city that enchants its visitors with its distinctive blend of history, artistry, and romance. The city is uniquely constructed on over 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. Instead of roads and cars, Venice is characterized by its waterways and gondolas, offering a truly unique urban experience.
St. Mark's Square stands as one of the city's most iconic landmarks. It is home to St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace. The basilica boasts stunning Byzantine mosaics while the palace showcases Gothic architecture and grand rooms adorned with art - both are symbols of Venice's rich historical heritage.
The Grand Canal is another must-visit attraction in Venice. A gondola ride along this major waterway provides breathtaking views of beautiful palaces and historic buildings lining its banks. For those passionate about art, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection offers an impressive collection of modern art from renowned artists like Picasso and Pollock.
Venice takes pride in its glassmaking industry located on the island of Murano where visitors can witness artisans crafting intricate glass pieces using age-old techniques.
The city also hosts several globally recognized events such as the Venice Biennale art exhibition and the Venice Film Festival which draw artists and celebrities worldwide.
For gastronomes, Venetian cuisine offers fresh seafood from the lagoon and traditional dishes like risotto nero (black risotto) made with cuttlefish ink.
In summary, Venice presents an irresistible mix of history, culture, artistic talent, gastronomy, and romance that makes it an ideal destination for any traveler.
