This beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom sprawling, open floor plan includes an abundance of multi-sized windows, not only giving the house plenty of character, but also filling the space with a wealth of natural light. The charming chef’s kitchen, equipped with stunning granite countertops, a farm style sink, beautiful light oak cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances, is the center point of the home, inviting everyone to join in and help prepare the fresh, farm-to-table family dinner, soon to be shared. The 3-seat breakfast bar, partitions the adjacent sunny dining room, a perfect place for making delightful dinner or late night family board game memories. Additionally, the space expands to a cozy living room area, bordering the charming staircase that leads to the upper level.
Upstairs you will find 3 enchanting bedrooms, all featuring vaulted cathedral ceilings, and generous windows, letting light in from every exterior angle. The delightfully inviting master suite expands through half of the upper level. While the additional bedrooms, including one with an elevated loft bed, are cozy and perfect for kids or guests alike. Open the windows and relish in the river sounds, for a perfect night’s sleep. Located in the quiet and friendly Forest Groves Estates neighborhood, just down the street from the natural beauty of both Lemon and Vallecito Lakes. This property is perfectly nestled near the Florida River, including creek access beside the house, and just a short drive from Downtown Durango.

Consistent with most Colorado mountain resorts, the home does not offer air-conditioning.
Concerning the home’s location, the drive to and from downtown Durango is about 20 minutes through the beautiful, picturesque Florida River Valley. In town, guests will experience excellent restaurants, shopping, art galleries, and great gear for both the summer and winter mountain adventurer. The famous Durango Train Depot and Museum are right downtown at the corner of Main Avenue and 5th Street.
This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
