Turtle Cove Retreat Relax with friends and family in this peaceful canal-front home in the quiet Turtle Cove community. With a large dock, you can bring your boat, fish right off the dock, hop in one of the three provided kayaks for a paddle, or opt for one of the many fishing charters in the area. Downstairs you’ll find an outdoor shower, gas grill, picnic table, and fridge where you can stash your day’s catch. Spend the afternoon on the outdoor swing on the lower deck while the kids nap in the two adorable toddler beds. If you’re eager for a beach day, Surfside Beach is about four and a half miles away - don’t forget to grab the beach chairs and umbrella stored downstairs. After firing up the grill or preparing your catch in the full kitchen, you can dine alfresco at the picnic table or opt for the roomy dining area inside. A booster seat and high chair are provided to accommodate younger guests. There are many games for the kids while you stream your favorite shows on the TVs in either the living area or the main bedroom, or you can grab one of the rocking chairs on the upstairs deck and watch the stars. THINGS TO KNOW Due to fluctuating tap water quality in the Village of Surfside Beach, it is recommended to bring bottled water for drinking and/or cooking during your stay. During times of elevated water contaminants, water coming from the faucets and toilets may have a yellow tint. The water is safe for bathing. The full kitchen does not have a dishwasher. Bottled water is recommended for consumption. The house’s water is safe to use for bathing, washing, and cooking after boiling. 2 dog(s), weighing 15lbs or less, are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Property Manager approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
