Whether you’re here in the winter or summer, Okemo Mountain Base Escape C203, at the base of Okemo Mountain, is the perfect location to discover plenty of fun outdoor adventures. In the winter, ski-in/ski-out to the slopes and base mountain lift from your accommodation for skiing and snowboarding the trails along with the challenging Terrain Parks. There are beautiful views of the base lift and up the side of the mountain from the condo balcony. Parents needing some downtime can drop their children off at the renowned children’s Okemo Ski School, which is only steps away from the condo. On Okemo Mountain and a short ride away is an abundance of trails for either snowshoeing or cross country skiing. After a fun day on the slopes or hiking in the mountains, play board games with family and friends or watch a favorite movie or TV show. Or take a two-minute drive down the mountain for use of the spa, indoor pool, or gym facilities at the Spring House for a daily or weekly fee. There are also many options close by for apres skiing gathering or shopping for your own food and wine for a delicious meal back at the condo.
In warm weather, cycling and mountain biking can be done from the property with bike rentals and mountain lifts available. The beautiful Fox Run 18 hole Championship Golf Course is just down the road from Okemo Mountain. Several nearby lakes provide spectacular kayaking and SUP opportunities. Camp Plymouth Lake State Park has a wonderful sandy beach, refreshment stands, tree-covered picnicking areas, and boat and paddleboard rentals for a fun family day outing. On Okemo Mountain and a short ride away is an abundance of trails for either hiking in warm weather (or snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the winter). On warm days, there are waterfalls and swimming holes at nearby Buttermilk Falls and other nearby trails. Thrill-seekers in the family can head toward Okemo Mountain Park, where there is a zip line and mountain coaster along with challenge courses and bike parks that are suitable for young children too. There’s also miniature golf for all.
