Wandering Bear’s Den
Tucked away in the trees near Carters Lake, the Coosawattee River, and downtown Ellijay, this two-level home is a place to find relaxation after days spent hiking, fishing, tubing, or apple-picking.
As you enter, you’ll be greeted by all the classic elements of a North Georgia escape - lofty ceilings of natural wood, a living room with ample seating and a streaming-equipped flatscreen TV, and a two-sided, wood-burning fireplace that warms both the living room and the kitchen to the rear. The kitchen is a cozy and well-appointed space, featuring stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher), both a breakfast bar and a small bistro table for indoor dining, and a door that leads outside to the expansive back deck with its gas grill, covered dining table, and lovely views of the surrounding trees. Light up the firepit for a magical end to the day.
At night, you’ll find the three bedrooms wonderfully separated for privacy. There are two, including the primary suite, on the main floor and one more upstairs that’s perfect for kids. Additional amenities include central air conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer for your convenience.
