Tuck yourself into Il Conte Farmhouse Retreat in the picturesque heart of Orentano and experience the simple pleasures of life in Tuscany. After picking up some fresh pastries from a local bakery, walk home to sip espresso alfresco and feel the warm countryside breeze while you lounge by the pool, which is open throughout the year. Later, unwind in the hot tub before heading out for dinner at one of the many restaurants around the lush countryside.
Prior arrival you’d never guess what awaits—traditional Tuscan farmhouse architecture with a contemporary-glam twist. Inside, colourful patterns, accents walls, and designer furnishings will surely spark a conversation or two during dinner parties while exposed-wood beams, and elegant designer furniture continue the luxurious traditional style. Outside, it’s like taking a step back in time: 15 acres of owner’s estate, 3 of which for your own and ideal for individual morning jogging. Catch up some reading beneath shady pergolas, work on your tan by the swimming pool. At dinner, the fully-equipped kitchen is sure to inspire your inner chef. Or, you could bring in a private chef to create a menu of delicious Italian cuisine. After dinner, take a bottle of wine out and sit on the pool edge while the sun sets over the rolling hills.
This region of Tuscany offers countless opportunities to experience the long and diverse local history, starting from he bespoke Lucca, with the best preserved Amphitheatre in the Roman world, to Pisa, San Miniato and Montecatini Terme all between a 20 to a 30 mins drive away. Florence, San Gimignano, and Cinque Terre -five mirage-like villages built on a series of shores, also makes a fabulous historical site to visit during your stay- are all approx a 1 hour drive away. Pistoia, Volterra, Siena, Bolgheri, Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, Garfagnana, Valdinievole and the Versilia Coast are all in an endless distance.

First floor: 2 master bedrooms and 1 bathroom
Lower Ground Floor: twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom, SPA room with jacuzzi and starting from March 2023 an emotional shower.
Covered shaded Parking inside the property. Private entrance. Owners live in the main dethatched villa in the same estate but with a separate car access and separate parking.
Parties/Events are to be agreed prior booking. Surcharges may apply.
For safety reasons, guests are not permitted to use the wood oven nor the fireplace.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: THE INDOOR SWIMMING POOL / JACUZZI IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE WITH WATER AT ROOM TEMPERATURE, BUT IT CAN BE HEATED UP TO MORE THAN 32 ° C WITH AN ADDITIONAL COST OF 20 EURO PER HOUR;
THE WATER BEGINS TO HEAT AFTER APPROXIMATELY 20 MINS AFTER SWITCHING IT ON.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: mandatory cleanings are included in the rental price and will be provided as follows:
- for stays of 1 week or multiple (2, 3, 4 weeks and so on) a midweek cleaning of approx 3 hours is complimentary and mandatory
- for stays multiple of 1 week (2, 3, 4 weeks and so on) a change of towels and linens it is provided at the end of each week.
- Heating and air-conditioning can be turned on according to the regulations in force in Italy both for temperature degrees and for the allowed period.
- Please note that check-out before 7 am is only possible with an extra fee.
