Beautifully tucked into a thicket of trees just half a mile down the road from Deep Creek Lake, this Oakland home is a place for boaters, anglers, and those in search of quiet relaxation. You’ll have your very own boat slip on Red Run Cove and a private hot tub to welcome you home from your excursions on the water. This tree-lined lodge is delightfully vintage in its character, offering carpeted floors, elements of wood paneling, and the familiar atmosphere of a classic lake house. The living room features leather furnishings, a cable TV, and a gas fireplace to warm you as you watch movies at night. Just around the corner is a fully appointed kitchen with plentiful wood cabinetry, a breakfast bar, and two adjacent dining room tables. Come summertime, you can walk home from the marina to barbecue your fresh catch on the gas grill, dine outside on the wrap-around deck, and indulge in a post-meal soak in the private hot tub. In winter, you can grab a toasty pair of socks from the washer/dryer, read or watch TV in the study, or head upstairs to play foosball. Three of the bedrooms are upstairs - one with its own balcony and TV, one with the foosball table and a TV, and a snug bunk room. The fourth bedroom is on the main floor, as is the study housing an additional bed; both rooms have TVs as well. Things to Know Cable service is available only in the living room.
