Wake up early to catch the morning sun as it hits the mist in Mediavalle del Serchio, turning the entire valley gold. You’ll have quite the view from this ancient hilltop Palace 25 mins drive from Lucca center. When the mist settles, set out to explore the hamlet of Pescaglia and olive groves. Then, drive into town for breakfast. And, make sure to pick up some Sangiovese Wine for later.
The Palazzo it is located into the center of the old hamlet of Pescaglia with a shared pool in the front and a second private infinity swimming pool located on a private garden just 1 min walk away from the Palace, this lovingly-restored 1500’s ancient Palace has been updated with a state of the kitchen, original furniture, heating and the highest-end electronics and appliances.
On the ground floor of the Palace there are 2 master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms plus 2 more master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and kitchen corner with private access from the outdoor of the building. On the first floor a grand kitchen, a dining room and a living room plus 2 master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. On the second floor another grand kitchen, dining room, living room, a wonderful romantic terrace, 2 master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.
Staying true to its roots, PALAZZO GIUSTI also boasts a private courtyard an infinity pool, wood-burning pizza oven, and fireplaces in each living area. Dine outside amongst the mountain views. Make that home-cooked meal extra-special and get the concierge to book an in-house Italian cooking lesson. The professional kitchen is the perfect place to learn how to hand-make pasta and combine fresh local produce. When the party inevitably moves to the terrace, cool off in the swimming pool, or sample the finest local wines around the alfresco dining set.
Rather dine out? Drive into Borgo a Mozzano, Pascoso, Loppeglia or to Ponte a Moriano with its vibrant food scene that features some of the best restaurant in the Lucca area including Michelin Starred Ristorante Butterfly. Drive to Lucca and wander within the historic city walls, where high-quality restaurants, bakeries, and gelato shops line the streets. Take a day trip to Pisa, Cinque Terre or Florence and explore the museums, galleries, and churches of the ancient Renaissance city. And wine tours of the World-famous Colline Lucchesi Vineyards are a great way to see all the different areas and landscapes of Tuscany.
The park-like front garden (about 80m from the Palazzo) has an infinity pool (1400×400 cm), a changing room, bathroom and an outdoor kitchen with a BBQ.

In case of travel restrictions of the Italian Government due to COVID_19 we will give our guests the possibility of re-scheduling the reservation to a future date. If you aren’t able to decide a date immediately we will issue a voucher, that you can use for any future booking, on any of our properties. We are sorry but we are not in the position to take into consideration travel restrictions issued by other Governments, or airline cancellations.
