And with only a short, 15 minute drive to all the attractions, shopping, events, and restaurants in Gulf Shores this is a perfect vacation getaway or snowbird paradise. The wildlife refuge is a 6,000 acre nature preserve that offers several easy trails through saw grass, marsh, and slash pine forest where you can encounter 500 different animals and bird species. The Fort Morgan Peninsula is in the bird and butterfly migration route. In early spring and late fall, the whole peninsula is alive with birds and butterflies including Monarchs and Gulf Fritillaries. Payment & Cancellation - 14 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
