Villa, is located in one of the most impressive and lush areas of North Crete and among spectacular views and unique architecture in the picturesque village of Kefalas.
An historical house of the first gynecologist of Crete, is fully renovated and decorated to offer its guests an authentic traditional Cretan atmosphere together with luxury and convenience. The villa is 180 sq.m. in a field of 400 sq. m.
The internal yard hosts a beautiful swimming pool of 36 sq.m.
The Villa consists of two floors; located in the first floor are one bedroom with a double bed, the kitchen, fully equipped with all modern appliances, a dining room, a living room with a tv/dvd set and a bathroom. In the second floor are two more bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds) with air condition, a loggia with two more single beds and a bathroom. It can accommodate up to 8 people.
The interior of the villa is designed carefully to reflect its long history and social status of its first owner. Viennese furniture and antique objects create a warm and elegant ambiance well matched with the character of the house.
The Villa is located in Kefalas village, 33km east of Chania city, in Apokoronas prefecture, an area green and fertile, with running waters and rolling hills.
Kefalas village offers the calm atmosphere and the facilities you may need during your stay. Three beautiful traditional tavernas offer local food based on Cretan recipes and the warm hospitality of their owners is memorable. A couple of mini markets cover your everyday needs in various products and fresh vegetables and fruits.
The surrounding landscape combines beautiful architecture as well as a uniquely abundant natural environment and breathtaking views to the White Mountains. Once you visit this spectacular area you will realize why it is so famous and beloved. Kefalas village is 9 km south of Almyrida, a well organized resort with two sandy beaches, sun beds and umbrellas, mini market, ATM, bars, pubs and many local taverns where you can enjoy traditional cuisine.
