<p>This very pretty, bungalow style villa stands in large gated grounds with lovely gardens, overflowing with a variety of flowing shrubs and borders, creating a beautiful haven for your Kefalonia holiday.</p> <p>Just across the coastal road from the sea – the landmark chapel of St. George and the site of an ancient temple of Apollo stand above the sea, with the tiny fishing harbour just below on the rocky coastline. A footpath to swimming cove can be reached in a few minutes on foot ( but not recommended for anyone with any mobility concerns and probably a good idea to wear trainers).</p> <p>Skala is a short drive away with its glorious stretch of sandy beach and varied selections of restaurants, café bars, and shops – a local restaurant is within walking distance (open June – September).</p> <p>The house is attractive and a perfect relaxing base, with a mix of modern and more traditional furnishing, spacious light filled rooms – being all on one level means it great for small children and the elderly. The large separate kitchen is fully fitted and offers all the mod cons one would expect.</p> <p>The pool is placed just in front of the villa with lovely sea views, and surrounded by the garden with a good area of lawn and a shaded seating area is provided in the garden which is ideal for al fresco dining or just reading and relaxing. From two of the bedrooms you can access a private and secluded side terrace which is a peaceful haven.</p> <p> To access the villa there is a path which is 130cm wide. The front door has a width of 90cm, whilst the door to the terrace is 130cm wide. The terrace is open with non slip crazy paved tiles, which can be uneven in places. The pool itself has ladder access. This is a ground-floor property. All bedrooms have a door width of 90cm, whilst all bathrooms have a door width of 90cm.
