What’s nearby: Located less than a half-mile from Main Street, this adorable cottage will be the perfect jumping-off point for checking out the various restaurants, shops, and attractions that make this coastal town so special. Take an afternoon to walk along the Bar Harbor Shore Path or take advantage of the many hiking trails that are scattered nearby to really soak up the scenery. Venture out a bit further, and you will find yourself at the famous Acadia National Park. For some fun closer to home base, don’t hesitate to take the two-minute walk to Glen Mary Park across the street to check out the town-sponsored children’s wading pool.
