One doesn’t come to Italy for niceness… one comes for life!’ - E.M. Forster, A Room with a View
FILIPPO AND THE TEAM HAVE TAKEN VOV TO FLORENCE with the divine ‘Dimora Nova’ offering Firenze at your feet!Uber-centrally situated atop an imposing age-patinated palazzo on the Corso dei Tintori (Street of the Dyers) close to the Uffizi Gallery in the Santa Croce part of town, Dimora Italia’s first Florentine foothold - conceived in partnership with ArchFlorence - raises the bar for prestige rentals in this Renaissance bastion of art and style.
Deeply rooted in a district with culture coursing through its veins, the freshly restored Dimora Nova stands proud above its peers.
Majoring in patrician grace and gentility behind its vintage parchment-hued historic facade, and mirroring all the well-bred finesse of Florence and her fashion-minded ‘cittadini’ in its sensitively calibrated collection of deluxe hand-crafted furniture, sumptuous fabrics, and an array of contemporary accoutrements to make the savviest traveller smile, the chic Dimora Nova hosts 6 (+2) guests with a terrace in the hushed and calm surroundings of the top floor reached by lift.
On kicking off your shoes the fizz and frenzy of Florence are left far behind as you make yourself at home.

This enchanting city, nestled in the heart of Tuscany, is a magnet for art lovers, history enthusiasts, and those seeking the quintessential Italian experience.
The city's historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a testament to its illustrious past. The iconic Duomo, with its red-tiled dome engineered by Brunelleschi and the adjacent Giotto's Campanile, stands as a symbol of Florence's architectural prowess. The nearby Baptistery, with its famous bronze doors by Ghiberti, completes this remarkable ensemble.
Art aficionados will find their paradise within the walls of the Uffizi Gallery, home to an unparalleled collection of Italian Renaissance art, including masterpieces by Botticelli, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci. The Accademia Gallery, where Michelangelo's David stands in all its glory, is another pilgrimage site for those seeking artistic enlightenment.
Florence is not just about the grandeur of its past; it's a living city with a vibrant street life and bustling markets. The Mercato Centrale offers a feast for the senses, with stalls brimming with local produce, cheeses, meats, and artisanal goods. The surrounding streets are lined with boutiques, leather shops, and jewelers, making Florence a shopper's delight.
The city's culinary scene is equally impressive, with traditional trattorias serving Tuscan classics like ribollita and bistecca alla fiorentina. The local Chianti wine is the perfect accompaniment to any meal, embodying the rich flavors of the region's rolling vineyards.
For a respite from the urban energy, the Boboli Gardens provide a serene escape with their beautifully landscaped grounds, fountains, and sculptures. The panoramic views of Florence from Piazzale Michelangelo are simply breathtaking, especially at sunset when the city is bathed in a golden glow.
Florence's compact size makes it ideal for exploration on foot, with surprises waiting around every corner. From the Ponte Vecchio, a medieval stone bridge lined with jewelry shops, to the lesser-known but equally captivating churches and squares, Florence is a city that rewards the curious traveler.
In essence, Florence is a city where the past and present coexist in harmonious splendor, offering a rich tapestry of experiences that continue to enchant and inspire visitors from around the globe.
