• As one of our more unique homes, we require 24 hours to verify the details of your booking and ensure that this home is the right match for you and your guests. Once you have submitted your booking, a representative will contact you immediately, answer any relevant questions and personally ensure that your booking runs smoothly. The representative will be able to provide confirmation within 24 hours, if not sooner. Please do not make further travel plans until your reservation has been confirmed.
• A mandatory local tourist tax & fees per adult per night will be charged prior to your arrival. This tax is not included in the total amount on the website. The tax is usually processed through credit card - one of our representatives will be in touch to get your details.
• A security deposit is required, to be processed by bank transfer, no less than 7 days prior to your arrival. The security deposit is refunded on the Tuesday following the weekend of your departure.
Beautifully renovated bastide with spectacular views down the Bar sur Loup valley. Great for a group of friends or families traveling with children. This beautiful bastide is located near the village, offers 6 bedrooms, is finished to a very high standard and will give you a true holiday experience.
This villa is a magnificent stone character villa set in beautiful grounds with amazing views. The house offers 6 bedrooms (3 with air-conditioning) and 4 bathrooms, and is finished to a very high standard both inside and out. It is located within walking distance of the village of Le Bar sur Loup that offers many amenities such as a food store, news agent (with international papers), pharmacy, patisseries, restaurants, post office etc.
On the ground floor there is a large living room with fireplace, piano and dining room from which large French windows open onto the terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful panoramic views. Next to the living area is a separate TV den, and on the other extremity of the room is a very well equipped, luxurious Lacanche kitchen with twin dishwasher and breakfast table.
On the ground floor you will also find a spacious double bedroom with ensuite bathroom facilities. From this bedroom you can walk out onto the terrace again. And lastly on this floor there is also a spacious office at your disposal.
On the first floor you will find the master bedroom with extra large double bed, ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet with safe. There is a third double bedroom with ensuite shower room.
There is also a delightful sun/reading/relaxing glass room with views overlooking the surrounding countryside.
On the garden level of the house are three additional bedrooms and one spacious bathroom. This part of the house is ideal for children or teenagers. There is also a relax/games room on this level with lounge sofas and a television. This room plus two of the bedrooms open onto a covered terrace where you can relax or play table football.
The spacious and beautifully landscaped gardens offer a true holiday experience. You can enjoy the large heated pool with fountain and massage jets and a summer kitchen with BBQ, American fridge, guest loo and solar heated shower.
There is further entertainment with a table tennis table, gym weights and accessories and a boules court.
From the outside dining area you overlook the pool area and you will enjoy the stunning views down the valley.
The property is accessed through electronic gates and has ample parking for 4+ cars.
Lastly, the Villa is built on the estate of the Baron of Wykerslooth and in 1982 became the property of the Earl of Althorp, father of the late Princess Diana who is thought to have spent holidays here.
