The Neighborhood:
Mayfair is an exclusive area in the West End of London, running alongside the easter edge of Hyde Park. One of London (and the world!)’s most expensive areas, Mayfair is the home of luxury shopping, iconic London architecture, amazing drinking and dining, plus some of the capitals most beautiful parks and outdoor spaces. Notable places of interest include Oxford Street and Hyde Park, and you’ll find some of London’s best galleries, restaurants and cultural spots within walking distance.
Getting Around:
London underground is a great way to travel around London and your nearest tube station is Marble Arch, serving the Jubilee line (grey) and Central line (red). Green Park station is less than a 15 minute walk away, serving the Jubilee line (grey), Victoria line (light blue) and Piccadilly line (dark blue). You can pick up a tube map from any tube station. You can use your contactless bank card as well as an Oyster card to pay for journeys on buses, tubes, trams, the DLR, London Overground and most National Rail services in London. If you would like to purchase an Oyster card, simply visit your nearest tube station or local newsagents.
Other Things to Note:
This property is up for rent, so there is the possibility we will need to do viewings during your stay. If this is the case we will give you 24 hours notice.
In the very unlikely event of a maintenance emergency, we will do our best to give you as much notice as possible should an engineer need to enter the property. However, should an emergency arise out of hours they may need to enter without notice and they are all vetted with passports. They will knock if you are home, please feel free to check their ID. Thank you.
Please note: there is essential lift maintenance being carried out in the building 27th Sept- 15th Nov 2021 and the lift will be out of service, however as the flat is ground floor this should impact you. No noisy works will be undertaken before 0900. Some sporadic drilling will be required and this may cause occasional disturbance. All efforts will be made to ensure the works are carried out diligently and with the minimum inconvenience.
