Perfectly situated within walking distance less than 200 feet from Ridge Road Beach, this newly remodeled home in the quiet community of Grand Beach is a place for families looking to relax on the scenic shores of Lake Michigan. You can swim, sunbathe, and spend your days playing golf, tennis, and basketball, and be welcomed home by a private hot tub and a firepit to make your evenings all the more special.
The Sunset House enjoys a prime location on a tranquil side road, with Lake Michigan visible from the front yard, a nine-hole golf course around the corner, and a great playground with an expansive grassy field, basketball courts, tennis courts within walking distance. Inside, this renovated home is comfortable and up to date, offering such comforts as a washer/dryer for the day’s swimsuits, high-speed WiFi for streaming, air conditioning, and flatscreen TVs in both of the living rooms and all of the bedrooms.
The main-level living space is wonderful for mingling, bringing together a sunny living room with a fireplace, a six-person dining room table, and a full kitchen with cheerful yellow cabinetry and stainless steel appliances (including a French-door refrigerator and a dishwasher). There’s a Weber gas grill outside to assist with afternoon barbecues, a screened-in porch off the dining room where you can relax both morning and evening, and a second living area downstairs that’s great for kids. At night, you can gather around the firepit for s’mores in the yard, watch the stars come out from the warmth of the private hot tub, and eventually retire to one of the comfortable sleeping spaces. There are three bedrooms upstairs on the third level, while the basement-level living room doubles as a fun-filled bunk room for the kids.
