The space
This property features our brand-new Le Chateau Soft Cloud Percale luxury bed linen for a heavenly sleep experience every time. This is one of our premier properties because of the huge yard and privacy it affords. Enjoy the large trees that provide peace and cool shade during the day, and a perfect canopy at night. The home has three rooms: 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, the third bedroom has a queen size bed and a small desk should you choose to do some work, while gazing at the stunning trees outside. There’s a fully stocked indoor designer kitchen with a large island and fully automatic espresso machine, as well as a huge outdoor kitchen with pizza oven! We promise you’ll never want to leave. Enjoy the quiet, peaceful spectacular yard, with its stunning trees. The property is located just 2 minutes from Wilton Manors, and 10 minutes from Fort Lauderdale Beach, and everything that Downtown Las Olas has to offer.
A typical day here may look like this:
Wake up, brew a delicious cup of coffee and take in the lovely view of the expansive back yard from the kitchen. You can also visit one of the most quaint little breakfast spots in Fort Lauderdale called Egg & U Diner. It’s owned by a British woman who welcomes all Fort Lauderdale locals every morning with a warm smile, and where the servers are as lovely as they are irreverent. They’ve been there for 60+ years, and it’s an institution.
Right in the same small shopping center, there’s a consignment store called Decades. Here you can find your next treasured home decor item. They have anything from Restoration Hardware furniture all the way to a unique bauble discovered at a thrift store. All in great shape and ready to occupy that perfect spot in your home.
If some beach time is in order, you’re very close to Fort Lauderdale Beach, which is between Oakland Park Blvd (Northern point), and Las Olas Blvd (Southern point). The closer to Oakland Park you get the quieter and more peaceful it is. If you enjoy a little more activity, people and volleyball, head towards Las Olas! You’re welcome to use the beach chairs and towels that are at the property.
All along A1A, the road bordering the beach, there’s plenty of parking and many bars and restaurants for you to enjoy. After you’ve relaxed, you may want to head over to Wilton Manors, the super fun LGBTQ district in Fort Lauderdale. You can grab a bite at Tulio’s Tacos, (try the Smokey Pineapple Margarita, you’ll thank me!), and any of their tacos are delicious. Here you’ll see locals and tourists mingle as they walk from gastropub to gastropub all along the Wilton Drive strip. Apt. 9F, another local hangout, across the street serves great wines and tapas. Please tell Carol and Nancy (the owners) that Alex & Ray sent you, they’ll treat you extra nice ;-).
There’s plenty of places to enjoy a great dinner such as Union Kitchen and Bar (also in Wilton Manors), try their Japanese Old Fashion, it’ll change your life. Also, if you like pasta, mushrooms and you love truffle, try their Porcini Campanelle, heaven on a plate! If good Peruvian is your thing, Bravo is a great option. They began with gourmet sandwiches, which are a must, and then expanded their menu to full offering of delicious Peruvian dishes. Their Ceviche de Corvina is perhaps the best one, or the Lomo Saltado if you’re in the mood for steak. Portions are good sized.
When you’re ready to turn in, enjoy the large rain shower head, and amazing water pressure of our showers. The beds are meant to provide restorative sleep.
We can’t wait to host you!
