Location: Just outside of Burnsville & across from Mount Mitchell. Conveniently located to all of the area attractions on a very private estate lot in an upscale mountain development. Less than 30 minute drive to the full service grocery store & downtown Burnsville, and immediately adjacent to Mount Mitchell. Less than 30 minutes to downtown Mars Hill, and Marshall. You are also less than 60 minutes to downtown Asheville, and the world famous Biltmore Estate. A little over an hour to the Asheville Airport. The Lodge is only accessed via state-maintained, paved roads. Extreme Winter weather may precipitate use of All-wheel or 4-wheel dive on snowy &/or icy roads. Pets: This home and property are very dog friendly, and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130 with a limit of 2 dogs per booking party. Please inquire for details regarding payment, the cancellation policy, and trip insurance.
Last Minute Bookings: Reservations made within 7 days of check-in require additional verification, including selfie/photo of government-issued ID matching the reservation name, and photo of payment method in the primary guest’s name. Failure to complete verification may result in cancellation.
