In Fryeburg, you’ll find a number of local shops and tasty eateries, with a supermarket located less than a mileandahalf from your door for stocking up on essentials. If you’re visiting in the summer, get your beach fix at Westons Beach, a wonderful spot on the Saco River for picnics, canoeing, kayaking, and quick dips in the cool waters, less than a mile away. During the winter months, head out on the nearby snowmobile trails, indulge in a little Nordic skiing at Stark’s Mountain, or take a drive to the Cranmore Mountain Resort, 12 miles northwest in North Conway, New Hampshire. After coming back, head up the stairs and find yourself within a spacious, openconcept living area with high ceilings, knotty pine walls, a thermostatcontrolled gas fireplace, and additional comforts at every turn. Prepare your favorite recipes in the wellequipped full kitchen, complete with a breakfast bar, and then settle in for the evening to watch your favorite movies or shows on the TV. Better yet, head out to the screened, furnished porch where you can switch on the propane fire column and warm up as the stars come out. Pine View can be rented along with Bear’s Den and Miranda’s Hideaway as Fryeburg Getaway to accommodate up to a dozen guests.
