This beautifully restored village house, is a mere 100 m from one of the excellent tavernas that border the shady square in delightful Plaka. High stone walls ensure privacy in the pool and surrounding gardens. The living space is exceptionally spacious, combining modern facilities with lovely stone arches spanning the ceiling. A lovely feature of this Villa is the first floor terrace with sea views between the neighbouring rooftops and gorgeous mountain views. Location - Plaka 1 km uphill from the sandy sweep of pretty Almyrida, with its tavernas almost on the sand itself, the village of Plaka, has a mini market and some very good tavernas whose tables and chairs spill out onto the square, bringing it to life in the evenings. The Villa is just a short walk distance from this square. For a change of beach scene, the small resort of Kalyves and Georgioupolis are within easy striking distance. Chania’s Venetian Harbour is 25 kms away and Rethymnon 40 kms. Outside Villa Swimming Pool - Tiled, 5m x 3m private pool. Depth 1m - 1.70m. Garden - 2 areas of lawn furnished with sun beds & outdoor shower. Courtyard Barbecue Terrace - Covered traditional stone built barbecue and wood oven. Round table with chairs. Pool View Dining Terrace - Covered tiled terrace with a large dining table and chairs, First Floor Terrace with sea and mountain views - Pergola furnished with cane table and easy chairs and sunbathing terrace with sun beds. Ground Floor Sitting Area - two sofas, open fireplace, Satellite TV, DVD, windows with garden views and French doors to the garden. Dining Area - wooden table and seating for 6, hatch to kitchen Kitchen - Cream painted fitted cupboards, double sink, ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, door to courtyard with BBQ terrace and dining area. Twin Bedroom - 2 single beds, French doors to garden and pool area, window with pool view. Air con unit. Twin bedroom - 2 single beds (can be made up as double) French doors to garden and pool area. For stays of 14 nights or more - bed linen will be changed every 7 days. Pool/beach towels - one per person for the duration of your stay.
