If you need to plug back in, there is always WIFi (just in case). What’s Nearby: Volcano hosts a lot of small-town events. Head across the highway to the Cooper Center to enjoy the local Thai food truck or to take advantage of the Sunday Farmer’s Market that goes on every Sunday from 6:00-10 AM. The big attraction is Volcano National Park which is just two and a half miles away. That’s a great way to spend a day. You can also head a little ways back toward Hilo to tour either the Panaewa Zoo or the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Visitors Center - both less than 25 miles up the highway. Payment & Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
