When you build up an appetite, the whole family will love grabbing a plate of fresh seafood from one of the many restaurants that line the coast. Don’t hesitate to take a drive up and down the Oregon Coast Highway as well to check out the other small towns! For walking or a hiking experience, make sure to visit the Rockaway Big Tree Trailhead. Fishermen can head out to the deep waters with a Charter service in Garibaldi or Nehalem for great salmon or halibut. The lighthouse at Capes Mears is about 24 miles away and close to Cannon Beach. Be sure to visit Wheeler for an Art Deco experience. Not to forget the trains which run seasonally. Lastly, don’t forget the Tillamook tour where the famous cheese is made.
