After grabbing a bite to eat or coffee from a local cafe, pack up your ski gear and head up to Stowe Mountain Resort (five-and-a-half miles north) and make a day of shredding fresh powder with loved ones. Plus, the extensive trail system of Mount Mansfield State Forest will be just the ticket for a day of hiking to Vermont’s highest peak!
