Belonging to the Sunrise Mountain Village, Killington’s finest slope-side community, this condo includes access to several community amenities, including a shared hot tub and tennis courts. With a great ski-in/ski-out location, this condo is also only one mile to Killington Mountain Resort’s Bear Mountain base lodge, just over three miles to the Skyship base lodge, and six miles to the K1, Snowshed, and Ramshead base lodges. For even more mountain fun, head 11 miles northwest to Pico Mountain.
A cozy space with all the home essentials to keep you comfortable, this condo is the perfect retreat at the end of a thrilling day on the nearby slopes. Place your ski boots by the door and settle in beside a warm fire in the living area.
Unwind with a favorite cable series or DVD on the room’s 39-inch television (one of three TVs in this condo). Other entertainment options include a stereo and WiFi. Pull back the curtains leading onto the outdoor deck and, if you’re lucky enough to visit during the fall, witness the vibrant yellow, orange, and red hues painted across the valley.
Cook a fresh bowl of chili or any other hearty meal in the full kitchen, which offers all the cooking equipment to get the job done efficiently. Lay out pre-meal snacks on the kitchen’s countertops to hold your group over, then move to the four-seat dining table when the main course is served.
When the weather calls for it, enjoy al fresco dining on the outdoor deck. After breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the dishwasher will take care of cleanup.
Modestly furnished with items like reading lamps, nightstands, dressers, and even skylights and a 32-inch TV in the primary, the bedrooms are quiet and peaceful places in which to get plenty of rejuvenating sleep. There are also two bathrooms.
Additional amenities include a private washer/dryer for freshening up your ski wardrobe, and a spacious basement with a TV alongside comfy couch, armchair seating, and an extra twin trundle bed.
In the morning, kickstart another day of adventures with a fresh-brewed cup of coffee from the coffeemaker. During the winter, you could easily ski out on the Sunrise Sundog ski trail, then head to Killington Road (five miles north) for apres-ski dinner and drinks in the heart of town. In other seasons, you could go fishing or canoeing at Kent Pond (nine miles northwest), Chittenden Reservoir (22 miles northwest), or Lefferts Pond (22 miles northwest), or take a hike in the surrounding Green Mountains. Just 20 miles west, Rutland is known for its museums, dining options, and entertainment venues, so visit its quaint downtown on a fun day trip.
Enjoy access to Falls Brook Commons, a private sports center facility at Sunrise Mountain Village. After an exciting day of hiking or skiing, relax and enjoy the indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, or steam room. The outdoor hot tub is available for use all year round. The Sports Center is closed for maintenance until Memorial Day weekend, 2023. There are also three outdoor tennis courts, plus a firepit (by reservation only). All outdoor amenities are available.
