Whistler, located in British Columbia, is a globally recognized destination that caters to a diverse range of travelers. It's nestled within the Coast Mountains and is famous for its ski slopes, considered some of the largest and most frequented in North America. The Whistler Blackcomb resort provides over 200 marked runs, 16 alpine bowls, and three glaciers for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.
However, Whistler isn't solely a winter destination. During the warmer seasons, the mountains become an idyllic setting for hikers and mountain bikers. The region has an extensive trail network that offers breathtaking views of alpine meadows, waterfalls, and wildlife.
For those desiring off-the-beaten-path adventures, Whistler provides activities like ziplining through ancient forests, bungee jumping over rivers fed by glaciers or white-water rafting on thrilling rapids. Golf enthusiasts will also discover several highly-rated courses in the vicinity.
